For spouses and partners who want a little time away from the conference
we offer some amazing activities.

Soplao Cave & San Vicente De La Barquera

You will depart from Santander and begin your day with a guided tour of the Soplao Cave, in which a recreation of a mining train moves the visitor through the mining gallery of Isidra, until arriving at the cave. Once there, a walking circuit is made through the galleries and rooms of the cave. The introductory story, the lighting, the colours, the acoustic and musical effects and the atmosphere will make the tour an unforgettable memory.

The next stop is San Vicente de la Barquera. Just like in a painting, the fishing village is painted from the colours of a creative artist: in its hills you will see green, blue in its waters and the limestone of the Picos de Europa in the background. If we are lucky, we will see some snow on the tops. Its emblematic bridge moves the visitor to another time through its haughty Old Town.

After lunch, the group will go to the redwood forest of Cabezón de la Sal, with a short walk to admire these fabulous trees.
